My path to
psychological counselling and cancer support
I am Claudia Wrobel, born in Schleswig-Holstein, and a single mother of a wonderful teenage daughter.
I share my home in Crete with a dog, cat and tortoises – a vibrant everyday life that inspires me anew every day.
From vocation to passion
My passion for working with people began during my initial training as a medical assistant. However, I quickly realized that conventional medicine often only treats individual symptoms and does not consider the person holistically.
This idea initially led me to education – as a preschool teacher, I gained valuable experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I was particularly fascinated by psychological approaches and began to intensively study trauma and systemic counseling. To gain a different perspective on the root causes of health problems, I completed systemic training and ultimately obtained my license to practice psychotherapy.
The question of the deeper causes of behavioral patterns and psychological stress has never left me. I have intensively studied the psychology of children and adults – especially traumatic experiences and their impact on personality development.
Today I offer targeted programs to support people in challenging life situations.

My connection to the topic of cancer is deeply personal. An entire generation in my family was affected by this disease, and I witnessed firsthand the fears, decisions, and hopes associated with it from a very young age. When a little girl in my daycare later became ill, I realized how helpless people can feel in such situations—and how much they need someone to provide guidance and support.
I too was later diagnosed with cancer. This experience fundamentally changed my perspective on life, on healing paths, and on inner strength. I know from personal experience what it's like when the ground suddenly gives way beneath your feet—and how important clarity, calm, and human support are during this time.
These personal experiences motivated me to deepen my knowledge and to train professionally as a cancer counselor.
Today, my mission is to support people with my knowledge and my own story — be it through psychological support, guidance in challenging situations, or by providing information about preventive and complementary ways of dealing with cancer.
To this end, I have developed various programs that support those affected and interested parties in finding their own individual path to greater well-being, stability and self-determination.
